About Roe Computer Systems, TOPS and TaPoS
Roe Computer Systems was created by Jack Roe (CS) Ltd in 1983 to offer companies complete computer systems. RCS computer systems are designed for each event and site and so must be versatile, expandable and cost-effective. Support is provided by the same team of people who develop the software and set up the computer systems to make sure that updates are made and problems are fixed as soon as possible.

TOPS' first installation was on October 1st 1985 and now has an 18 year history of continual software development behind it. It is a complete product and finance managing system, designed to be versatile to many different companies' requirements. Each company has its own system custom designed to include any or all of the integrated business modules required by the customer. The central servers were originally Unix but now run MySQL databases and offer easy to use but powerful windows front-ends.

TaPoS is a complete cinema and festival ticketing and concessions solution. It has been created alongside entertainment managers and includes all the hardware, software and support required to run cinemas and festivals efficiently, smoothly and professionally. Features include internet sales, complete card clearing, stock management, ATMs and automated telephone booking.
