Central server
Every site or group of sites* has its own server. The servers run a unique installation of linux for maximum stability and control. This also helps to make the system cost-effective. All ticketing data resides on this server.
Standard server
The standard server is a specially designed pc running off an intelligent power supply to protect against lapses in power and to prevent improper shutdown. Every system has either a removable hard disk or else a tape drive for data backup incase hardware fails or the server is damaged.
RAID Server
For sites where an uninterrupted sales system is essential even when hardware fails, a dual hard disk DELL RAID server is provided. All information is written to two hard disks and so if one fails, it is just replaced without any loss of informtaion or halt to the system.
*In the case of a multi-site system more than one site can operate from a single central server.
