Warehousing, distribution and delivery control
|
|
|
|
| Any business offering a delivery service or organising deliveries for couriers will find the delivery control modules useful, particularly where there is concern over capacity or efficiency.
The comprehensive system has been designed particularly for medium to large businesses but its applications can benefit any company. The program is modular and is tailored to each company's individual warehousing, distribution and delivery requirements.

Delivery calculations and automated procedures
|
TOPS takes all the order dates and calculates the load at different depots for different routes and vehicles.
- Each depot can have its own requirements, procedures and preferred loading bay
- Orders for a particular point are assigned a default delivery route/geographical area
- TOPS can automatically calculate the loading of any vehicle using each stock items' associated vehicle loading factor
- Assigned default routes and vehicles can be overwritten to adjust for overloaded/underloaded vehicles without affecting the automatic assignments for future deliveries
- Supports transfers between vehicles

Reports and lists
|
Reports and lists allow delivery comparisons and uneconomical routes to be amended before the delivery is made.
- Truck load listings and number and location of drops based on area, route, date or period are available in various formats both onscreen and in hard copy
- Listings and drop control can be run and rerun as delivery dates approach and are listed in the user's chosen order
- Full final lists available include location, lifting and loading for each vehicle
- Printing of delivery documents can be delayed until moments before despatch
